Privacy Policy
This policy describes the Google publishing and read-only Analytics integrations in the private, owner-operated ProTinkerToys Clips application.
Information accessed
With the owner's consent, the app requests:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.uploadfor the configured direct video-upload capability.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonlyto identify the authorized channel, list its owned uploads, and check video and publication status.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonlyfor channel and owned-video performance reports.
The app stores OAuth access and refresh tokens, granted scopes and token-expiry information; channel identity and owned video IDs; video metadata and publication records; and channel or video report dates and metrics. Metrics may include views, engaged views, watch time, average view duration, viewed percentage, likes, shares, comment counts and subscriber changes. Import records retain dates, source type, content hashes, missing-field information and validation evidence.
The Analytics collector does not request monetary analytics, viewer names, viewer email addresses, comment text or private messages. These integrations do not request Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, payment or customer account access.
How information is used
Google data is used to confirm the correct channel, publish or reconcile approved videos, collect read-only performance reports and display local comparisons. The Analytics grant and token storage are separate from publishing; Analytics credentials cannot authorize changes to YouTube content.
PTT Clips Local Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not sold or used for unrelated advertising, credit decisions or profiling.
Sharing and service providers
The current upload route uses Upload-Post, which has its own connected account and request status. Approved video files and publication metadata are sent to that provider for delivery to YouTube. The app's local Google refresh token is not sent to Upload-Post, and the Analytics collector does not send its collected metrics to that provider. Google API requests go directly to Google. Published videos and their public metadata become visible according to the authorized channel's publication settings.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials are stored in private, permission-restricted application directories on the owner's production computer. Status and dashboard APIs do not return the tokens; ordinary operational records redact credential-like values. Reports, publication metadata, media evidence and provenance are stored in the private Clips records for operational recovery and historical comparison.
The app currently has no automatic deletion schedule for imported Analytics reports. Approved media and recovery material may be retained for provenance or recovery; disposable finals and temporary renders may be removed after publication is confirmed. A fixed deletion period is not promised.
Revocation and deletion requests
The account owner can revoke access through Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future successful access; it does not automatically remove already-published videos, imported reports or the local token record. Contact protinkertoysclips@gmail.com for help disconnecting the app or reviewing and removing retained local data.
Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. This website consists of informational pages and has no application login or operational controls.
